Sandy Launius Mann

My name is Sandy Launius Mann, my primary medium is acrylic, oil, and ink. I dedicate half my time to multi media pieces using tiles, ink, plaster, burlap and resin on wood.
With a degree in interior design I’ve been using my drawing and painting skills all my life.  My greatest influence is Jackson Pollock and you see much of his style come through in my abstracts.
I enjoy painting representative and non-representative abstracts with my goal to have pleasing color and motion in all my pieces.   I also enjoy painting city landscapes with moonlit reflections.   I have a studio with a small gallery located in Warrior Al where I am also president of the Arts Council.
